Hey guys! Ummm… I’m just curious… Are these video actually episodes of season 3? We were hoping that we’ll get a 20 or 30 minute episode! If it is, I’m disappointed. I’m glad that you guys are back, but you guys are making your episodes to short. BUT!!! If these are teaser episodes to the real thing… Then, you guys suck!!! Because you guys tricked me so bad!!! XD

We’re definitely playing with the format and experimenting! AnimeTV is constantly evolving. But we do think shorter is usually sweeter when it comes to the web. Keep the comments coming! AnimeTV… GO!

Hi guys :) thanks for the great review Jonathon, i’m really interested in this anime now, it looks really cool :)

Now for the ‘critical’ part lol, as much as i love the fact that you guys are back i gotta agree with Nostalgia and Samantha, i think most if not all of your fans would prefer the 20 to 30 minute episodes, i don’t mean to sound rude or anything but there is so much ‘more’ in the 30 min episode if you know what i mean.
I hope you stick with the longer episodes as they are so much better to watch :)
Thank you so much again for bringing us Animetv

    Cool review.
I don’t mind the new format. It’s actually similar to what The Totally Rad Show has been doing lately with small episodes focusing on certain reviews. It lets you look at what you want and skip what ever you please.

    Hey guys. Welcome back!

On the subject of episode length… Check out TRS (Totally Rad Show), on Revision3.com. They have a daily (weekdays only) episode of around 10 – 15 minutes. I think that kind of format would satiate the fans of AnimeTV, but would keep the “short and sweet” idea.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of you guys in the future; and… Gambario!!!

I have to agree with other people and say that these are too short D:
I understand that 30+ minutes might be difficult to portray now that your no longer with Revision3 but please do make an episode at least 15min.
On the other hand I am glad your back~~

And a small note for the collectors and industry buffs out there. The ADV/Section 23 release is a new re-release of this show. Central Park Media released this show back in 2002 under their U.S. Manga Corps line.

Other wise cool to see you guys back. I don’t mind the shorter segments but I would like to see them maybe around the 10-15 minute mark. That way you can get a few more details in there.

I’m glad you guys are back but i prefer the long episodes with the different things you talk about its really fun to watch and not only that it gives me something to do so as a fan i think it would be better if you had the original long episodes.

Looking forward to seeing what your going to do next

    Anime Tv GO!!!!!!

cool to see some sort of episode, better than none. i am going to say truemore has it right 15 min (no including the intro) is the real sweet spot.

also am i missing some sort of forum aspect to this website or is there none?

I still don’t like that anime. I don’t care how many people claim it to be this great masterpiece, I will never like it. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.

hey guys this is Jonathan! I hear ya on the longer episodes thing please bear with us. I am glad to have content coming in general and very pleased you guys are sharing opinions on it.
Also, happy to see that some of you are checking out now and then here and there based on my review. It is my new favorite anime, but please be cautious as it is very harsh to watch. Trumore thanks for the correction on the OG realease, and james as much as it saddens me I do understand that it will not be everyone’s cup of tea…how ever tome it takes of chamomile and I drink it down to the last drop….then take nap.

One film I find that is overlooked, that is one of my favorites that almost passed me by was “They Were Eleven”. A film from 1975, I saw it in my local library and decided to check it out. It has since become one of my favorites. It’s about a class of ten space cadets who are in the middle of their final test that will allow them to become respected individuals in their respective societies. The test takes place on a decommissioned spaceship as their final test. Once onboard they realize there is an eleventh member in their group who shouldn’t be there.

@James: Tch, “not your cup of tea?” That just serves as a testament to your own shitty taste. NT,HT is undoubtedly one of the greatest anime ever made. Unfortunately, dumb f**ks like you are apparently ignorant to this fact.

But anyway, with that comment, I digress from this vid, permanently, so reply if you want, but I won’t be returning to read or reply to anything else said.

    Good video, btw.
