I remember The Maxx, it’s a really great show. But my fave is Duckman. That show made me piss myself so many times. Now for Draker than Black, I LOVE THIS ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!! The first episode hooked me like the 1st time I watched anime back when I was 7. The story was great and still is. The plot threw me off and first but, I finally caught up with it. They should totally talk about the great anime stories and shows at my school. I mean it’s great, this is where people should get inspired.
Also what was Roy doing standing there like he’s lost. I love you Roy but, man, you were lost! This show reminds me of the first animes I watched like Digimon and Pokemon. Sometimes you can’t top a classic, and Darker than Black will soon be a classic.

you covered the maxx! im so glad you did because true anime does not mean that its from japan anymore, its about imagination and what inspires. The Maxx comics changed my life and now its on dvd… awesome.

Summer wars review next week!
wow i started watching that and was amazed it is definitely one of my most favorite anime that I have ever watched and I’ve been watching anime for probs twelve years so I have seen alot. Great anime as far as I see it and shouldn’t be missed out on.
I haven’t even finished watching the entire movie because I always have things to do but even without watching the entire thing I still love it.

I love Darker Than Black! I, too, was hooked on the first episode. I’m a noob otaku, but I’ve really fallen in love with anime. I think I’ll start incorporating it into my blog…

Lovelovelove Darker Than Black! By far my favorite anime and I am so glad you guys covered it. Laura, Hei is drop dead sexy- period. Especially in English. I had no idea that November 11 had the same voice as Kakashi in Japanese. That is Awesome!
Totally recommend this to ANYONE. But it does take time for everything to be explained and it goes more in depth in Gaiden and season two. Laura, I know you don’t like Hei/Yin, I don’t either, but- yeah- just watch season two ect ect. xD

OHHHH thank you soooooo much for reviewing this anime. It’s my favourite one along with Baccano, FMA and Durarara.
Laura and KelseyAnne, HEI IS SOOOOO FRIGGIN’ HOT :p with his collarbones.
I enjoyed more the 1st season than the second one, but I prefer Hei/Yin or Hei/Suou than Hei/Misaki (she’s too old for him and I think that she’s better with November 11 ( EPIC CHARACTER .<
Oh and the 3d Gaiden episode comes out on May 26th in Japan and there supposed to be 4 Gaiden episodes in total.

This is just how I took it when I saw that Agent April used her rain to kill the guy in season two. I think she was only able to do that because the guy would travel so fast that the water would act as bullets. Similar to hitting a body of water after falling from too high can kill people.

I love the Maxx mostly cuz he was like a homeless super hero I remember he would live in a cardboard box . my most favorite thing is that if Bat man or the X0men mantion gets destroyed they have to spend million of dollars to re build but the maxx can go to a super market and be like hey I need a knew Box.

This Show Deserves Alot Of Attention. Its Not Every Day You Can Watch A Show Who Reviews Anime That You Know And Love. They Just Need To Talk About The Show a Little Deeper If You Ask Me? I’m Glad They Know Their Stuff, But It Wouldn’t Hurt To Really Get In Depth, Down and Dirty With The Show’s They Review.

Darker Than Black was not bad, but I completely agree with Nick about how it was confusing as far as the back story of the Gates and the contractors were concerned. I didn’t feel they did a good job by the end of the first season about what the hell they were. The show was more character driven, which was good. Just wish they had explained it better…
I’m hesitant to watch the second season. I don’t wanna watch it unless they explain what the back story is.
