Loading ...What would you call chicks in armor who run around killing monsters with big Claymore swords? “Awesome? sick? ridonkulous?” All good guesses, but try something a bit more obvious… “Claymores”. Now add a topless Lucy Lawless and Baily escaping from rabid deer on a bullet train and you’ve got episode 16 of AnimeTV!

Good review guys, definently going to watch and more than likely read this one, even though I’m not a big manga person. Miley & Nick handcuffed together <3 LMAO.

Uhhh, why did Laura have handcuffs underneath her bed…? Anyways, good episode. If you guys know any really good slice of life anime, please continue to bring them up. You reviewed Welcome to the NHK a while ago (at least that really awkward Japanese hikimori did :S) and nothing really seems to have topped that one for me.

i started watching claymore because a friend recommended and i loved it except how it ends. now im going to start reading the manga because im interested on what nick was mentioning. for Jonathan he should check out saint seiya for unexposed i think is a great anime.

I knew you guys would love that anime! ^_^ Despite it being my all time favorite though, I have not read the manga. I have a really good reason for that though and its because i wanna wait till i have collected all the volumes before reading it. If i read it now, I know I would marathon it all in one go and would most likely go crazy waiting for the newest releases, you know what i mean?
Also, I really think its hilarious when the guys in the background show some life like in the last ep and this one! It really wasn’t much but for some reason it made it funnier!
On another note, no offense to all the other guys and gals but i have to admit that the three of you make the best review team! Everything flows really great and there were no weird or awkward moments i thought.

A nice review. I agree on what Kaiji mention that it hard for every week to come up with something new for your hi-ma time. Kaiji only just sat there telling what he can that is new for his free time. Up to episode 16 now of second season and now it like the panelists are shrinking down now. Guessing everyone is busy at what they can now. For Johnathan to do under expose try Outlaw Star. Keep the underexposed ideas coming everyone! I will look into seiya and learn a bit more about it. Outlaw star is a great title but I think to many people know about it for underexposed… sigh… I do have the whole series on dvd though. I am going to film a couple more underexposed soon so expect them in the coming episodes!

Hey Jonathan, I just remembered a really good underexposed anime that you could do! You should try the 3×3 Eyes OVAs! I think the first season had like 4 episodes and the second season had 3 but with longer run times. Anyway, just wanted let you know about this anime!
Oh and i also think too many people know about outlaw star and i watched a couple eps of seiya when i lived in mexico. Yeah it had a spanish dub as well as sailor moon, db, dbz, dbgt, and ranma too if i remember correctly. I have vague memories of an anime that had these fighters that could use earth element armor or something like that but i can’t remember anything else. If anybody has any suggestions as to what i could possible be talking about, I am all ears!

First things first Bailey, super funny when the deers were biting you. Sorry but, it’s true. I love this anime Claymore is a great anime, it has everything that is bloody and gorey. I love the way the girls were in full body armor and stuff. The whole blood and gore is something of my type and I ate soup when I watched the 1st episode. The fighting scenes were perfect and clean, it was BEAUTIFUL! I’m now readong the manga and its great in very way.

I thought this anime was so fantastic! Why did they decide to end the series??? Which brings me to the point of how the ending was complete CRAP!!! I am for sure going to read the mangas now though. Bang on review guys =) !

Hey guys first off I love the Serenity references that Nick made and the shirt that Kanji wore. I own the dvd of that and Firefly the series which was amazing. If I’m thinking of the same Serenity since you guys throw Dark Horse Comics around who is done by a slew of guys including Joss Wedon the guy who created Buffy. Another thing is I think for Nick and Kanji that the anime “When They Cry” by Funimation is a good look for them. As for Baily and Miley they should check out “Bamboo Blade” another by Funimation!

Ok this is not be taken offencively but, i just realized that when Bailey is giving out to the dear she sounds an awful lot like Pheobe from Friends lol.
‘Bambi would be so upset by you’….. That is such a Pheope sentance lol
By the way… I LOVE ANIME TV!!!… Haha just tought you’d like to know that lol ^.^
