It’s an all girl panel this week with a girl talk hima time and some great animes. And don’t miss the review because like we said it’s all girls and they’re reviewing an anime about, what… Mechs?

The all girl panel was cool. Very calm and organized…hmmm. We’ll have to see how the boys do. I’m not really into mushy type Shojo but I love Yuu Watase’s drawing style. I like that there’s someone talking about the music. Laura you’re on the right track, you look good girl. There are so many titles out there that I want to watch Linebarrels doesn’t seem worth the time. Berserk kicks ass!

    First, I liked the calmness…it was…peaceful…

Second, the show looked like a total rehash of Evangelion, which I didn’t really care for because of all the fan service. Which brings me to my next point. I appreciated the warning about the amount of fan service but actually would have liked MORE warning. I’m sick of being recommended shows and then having to deal with content designed to attract 14-year-old boys. It served no purpose in Evangelion. It was the entire purpose of “Desert Punk” (which is why that show sucks, Jonathan!). And it’s just insulting to the viewer (the fan service, not your show).

I like being told about the content of shows, and since you guys have taken an older target audience this season, I think it would behoove us, your loyal viewers, to know what we’re getting ourselves into besides the craft of the anime itself.

If you want a more mature show with less fanservice you should check out Fafner as well as Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories and Mobile suit Gundam 08th MS Team.

They have a lot more character development and you end up becoming interested in all of the characters in the shows and what is happening to them.

Okay, about Gundam: What the heck is the correct order? Same for Evangelion. And all the countless other long running franchises. There are so many of them, I have no idea where to start.

The 2 Gundam shows are stand alone stories in the Gundam universal century universe. where stuff like seed, wing, G, 00, x and turn A are all separate universes.

The ones from UC you can mostly watch in any order you want the only ones you need to watch in order are the original, Zeta, double Zeta and chars counter attack. Those ones you need to watch in order because they have the actual same characters involved in the main plot lines. while the other series in the UC universe involve separate characters with some mentions to plot points of the other shows.

So glad to see Tracy doing so well on the show. I was so excited to hear that she’d be here and she definitely goes well with the group.

As for Linebarrels of Iron. I tried watching it, I really gave it a chance but it just doesn’t work for me. Oh well. lol

I don’t know if this has been done but it might be neat to do an old school episode and have everyone talk about their first anime and how they got into it. I know I love reminiscing about how I got into the japanime world and It could be interesting to see how everyones different childhood memories eventually brought them here to the show.
